Jack and Jill have been business partners for over 30 years. Their children have grown up together. Their families have vacationed together for years too.  They have been looking forward to an eventual sale of their business so that they can travel more and enjoy life.

Jack and his wife, Jane, are going through a hotly contested and bitter divorce. Jane is also best friends with Jill.  Jane blames Jack’s devotion to the business for the break-up of her marriage and wants Jack to liquidate his interest.  As you could expect, this has also severely strained her relationship with Jill.

As a business leader, Jack oversees sales for the company. However, since the divorce was filed he has not had his usual chipper personality. Consequently, his customer base has dwindled and business revenues have plummeted.
